Methinks you're overdoing it a bit there, Larry, but thanks nonetheless for the compliment and for pointing out the article. (Besides, when most people say it's an "honor" to get a response from me, they're invariably about to serve up a big helping of sarcasm.)

I have to defer to those with more technological knowledge as to whether the WaveMeter is implicitly referenced by Mr. Mann. I tended to read the article from the "big picture" standpoint, without assuming the author was secretly talking about any particular products aside from those of the companies specifically named.

I think today's most important news came from Jerry2 on Raging Bull, relaying to us his discussions with WAVX's Kent Kappen. I have no reason to doubt this poster's honesty or ability to record facts accurately. Does anyone else? Two major points: WAVX is reportedly in negotiations with NSM (which likely means certain additional PC-OEMs are very close to doing deals) and there will be news soon, though Kappen could not comment further.

Has anyone on our thread over here tried to contact the company recently? If so, did you receive polite "no comments," or that he/she is not available or is traveling, or anything positive, evasive, or what-have-you?

BTW, many of us strongly urge that you request the company's permission to post here before repeating what you may have been told. Please go to all lengths to relay it as accurately as possible. WAVX will have no choice to clam up if it is being misquoted or quoted without permission. I also sense the present negotiations are particularly sensitive, offering another reason for their reticence.

Thanks. And, hey, don't fold.

Oh yeah, Mr. Rosenberg: You organize your thoughts like a prosecutor in his/her closing argument. Is that your trade?
