The Amazon Rain Forest is said to be nature's natural Pharmacy. The Amazon tropical

now know as the Amazon Rain Forest.
The Amazon Rain Forest is the most complex ecological system on our planet. Plant and
animal life is richer and more abundant than any other type of forest. The main reason for
this enormous variety of plant and animal life is the climate. The tropical climate is moist
and hot year round. There is never a chance for the soil to dry out and the humidity, for
the most part, is at its saturation point. Climate conditions of this warm and moist
environment make growth and reproduction of plant and animals a year round affair. The
Amazon Rain Forest is overwhelmingly dominated by trees and woody stemmed vines.
Woody plants are the main producers of food upon which all forest animals depend.
Non-woody plants are Epiphytes living on trees. The Forest's trees are giants, standing
about two huundred feet high.
There is also a micro world below the soil of the forest. Invertebrates such as worms,
mites, insects, etc., together with fungi and microorganisms, take a most important role in
the decomposing of dead vegetation and freeing elements found in the soil for recrculation
in the forest ecosystem. Elements are released by dead organic materials. By
decomposition, they are quickly reabsorbed by tree roots; this provides for a closed cycle
of soil mineral nutrients and in this manner, the Amazon Rain Forest is able to support a
vibrant vegetation and and abundant animal life in permanent equilibrium with its
environment. The soil of the Amazon Rain Forest is, in itself, unique and unlike any other
soil found on earth.
The evolution of life has proceeded uninterrupted for some sixty million years. The forest
holds secrets which can benefit mankind. After many years of study and research by world

In 1985, the American Chemical Society printed that the Central American
Tree Phyllanthus Acuminatus Vahl has been found to contain a series of
potentially useful Antineoplastic Clycosides
In 1984, The Journal of Organic Chemistry's discovery of new drugs showed
an improvement on melanoma treatments, an important objective of the U.S.
National Cancer Institute.
As a part of this research, we have completed a detailed study of the Costa Rican tree
Phyllanthus Acuminatus Vahl [Euphorbiaceae.]
Received from the Cancer Research Institute and Department of Chemistry at Arizona
State University, was the fact that the Phyllanthus Genus occurs in tropical areas, such as
the Amazon Rain Forest. It is reported to be useful in treatment of tuberculosis,
tubercular ulcers, sores, malaria, ring worm, jaundice, diarrhea, and used as a diuretic.
Quoted from the the Journal of Natural Products, November-December 1990, the
isolation and structural elucidation of new Phyllanthus Glycoside Phyllanthosthatin was
summarized.
Phyllanthosthatin was isolated from roots of Phyllantbus Acuminatus N and was found to
inhibit growth of Murinep-388 Lumphotcytic Leukemia cell line. Coming from nature,
there are many drugs used every day, such as aspirin (Acetylsalicylic acid,) which is
extracted from the bark of willow trees, Insulin, which is extracted from the pancreas of
calves and sheep, penicillin, which is extracted from bread mold, Codeine and morphine
which are extracted from opium poppies. Tetracycline, a family of antibiotics, which is
extracted from microbes and quinine, which is extracted from the bark of Cinchona tree,
which was originally used as an anti-malaria drug. Amazon Natural Treasure, Inc. will lead

Domingos Loricchio was teaching courses involving advanced uses of super refractory
ceramics utilized in the space shuttle program.
In 1970, Dr. Loricchio completed a course on therapy and practice in biochemistry at the
Pharmacy facility in San Paulo, Brazil. This course was taught by the Brazilian biochemist,
Quintino Mingola, who was also a professor at the University located in Milan, Italy.
During that time, Dr. Loricchio developed a product known as Alumina-Hydro, a choroidal
form of activated aluminum hydrowide, to treat enterocolitis. He utilizied activated
physically inorganic material for the digestive tract. Professor Mario Degni adopted and
incorporated Dr. Loricchio's ideas at the medical facility of the University of San Paulo, in
Brazil in the University's research.
