Babeinthewoods, you didn't look far enough back. 5 years ago they were making money. I have been following stock for about 4 years. Let me give you a brief and partially accurate history. TTE has been largest parimutual wagering systems co. for quite some time- more than 50% mkt shr. With advent of major lottery push in US. growth rates and viability of tracks declined significantly. TTE in my opinion quasi-panicd at declining mkt and made at least one bad acquisition. They overpaid so much that their viability was in question. Too much good will and debt for depressed earnings stream. Apparently had many negotiating sessions with bankers. I loaded up last summer when they got their bond financing done and got banks off their back. They continue to own mkt shr and have best product in market. Many sales recently bode well for 99. I am a bottom fishing investor and this may be the best oppty I have seen in last two to three year.
