In regard to not monitoring chat rooms, I have to say that the TSE has it's head up it's collective orifice. This clearly is an infringement of individuals/corporations to freely exchange ideas in a new forum. I would hardly call SI a ' chat room'. First, I pay for it, therefore the content therein is limited to subscribers, and second, I don't have to read it if I don't want to. It is clearly NOT a rumour mill or a mechanism to manipulate huge stock transfers. Let's talk about what happened with Mytec a year or so ago. Clearly a case of stock manipulation if there ever was one. Did the TSE do anything about it. Hell no! Because it was a big brokerage house, they looked the other way. We could make some comments about some brokers during the BRE-X roller coaster ride. Brokers were throwing around rumours and stories faster than the National Enquirer. But I guess that's okay, because they are part of the club. Clean up your own house TSE before you tell us, the smaller investors, what we do here is in any way a threat to your monopoly practices.
I am sick and tired of bodies like the TSE contorting rules to keep information restricted to the old boys club.
IMHO
