Charles...

>> CA gets a good part of its business in the last days of the quarter and IAI does not find about until after the fact. So in fact at present it is not known what CA will contribute to IAI for 3Q.

Regarding post y2k I have been told that they have teamed with IBM on a bid for a contract of $10. million from the gov't. <<

I appreciate your effort in communicating with IAIC.

There are two things that bother me with this however. I can appreciate that CA gets most of their BOOKINGS in the last part of a Q but not the revenue. Revenue is based on delivery of goods and services. I suspect that most of the services that IAIC will deliver is from contracts that CA closed in prior Q's. Granted there could be some licence revenue that can be picked up in the last few days of a Q but IMO, not enough to make a significant impact.

This is not to say that IAIC will not have a good Q. Rather, do NOT expect a surge of REVENUE to come in the last couple of weeks based on service delivery.

Secondly, it bothers me that executives of the company are discussing what I would consider somewhat inside information talking about potential contracts with IBM for work with the Gov't. That is generally public information so it is not technically inside information. giving some hope for us poor longs on that basis is IMO, a way to keep people from selling.

For a $10M contract, there most likely be a lot of bidders so who knows what the potential really is and when it will be delivered.

I am not out to slam a stock that I am long in but what was communicated to you does not make me feel good.

Again my sincere thanks for your efforts and reporting what you heard.
