Just heard the MO governor Carnahan (D) say that he "probably wouldn't attend" a Clinton fund raiser in St. Louis on Oct. 15, Republican Senator Kit Bond's opponent Jay Nixon "isn't sure" about attending. I wonder if they are reading polls that we don't have access to? Do you know, has there ever been a time in our history when a president with "high job approval" ratings was being shunned by members of his own party? bp
