Here is an example of a valid "other side" opinion:

A significant change in the value of the dollar against the currency of one or more countries where Company X sells products to local customers or makes purchases from local suppliers may materially adversely affect Company X's results. Company X attempts to mitigate any such effects through the use of foreign currency contracts, although there can be no assurances that such attempts will be successful.

Sounds pretty bad, eh? Maybe someone should not invest in such a company? Well, except Company "X" is Lucent, and I took this from their latest Form 10 they filed with the SEC. I just wanted to point this type of statement out, so that everyone becomes aware that a fully reporting company is expected to state both positives and negatives in their filings, so that investors have all of the information they need to make an investment decision.

I welcome all opinions, and only ask that they be responsible and defensible. Since I have no control over what anyone posts, I make my own choices as to who to read and who to skip over.
