Quark has "called off" its proposed "acquisition" of Adobe (http://www.quark.com/about/itn071.html). Whew! I guess they finally figured out that Adobe shareholders wouldn't accept Monopoly money. BTW, Adobe just dumped its Visual Content Product and Marketing group, i.e., Adobe Studios. (http://biz.yahoo.com/bw/980915/eyewire_ad_1.html) They also dumped the former management team of Image Club Graphics. Those guys didn't go far though. Eyewire, the company who bought 'em out, apparently ARE the ICG guys. 30-3/4 at 12:30 ... maybe things are looking up.
