With the exception of Lucent Technologies Inc. and Cisco, the telecommunications equipment group is experiencing its lowest P/E multiple since 1993. Isn't it possible that Lucent and Cisco are simply eating the other guys' lunch? I don't know that consolidation is a reason to call for a sector slow-down...look at the financial sector! Anyone who has the foresight to hold LU for five years is going to come out smelling like a rose. Mark
