Hello Frank. The market is doing a lot better than I would have thought early on.

About that Starr Report. I have not read it all yet. As far as those details are concerned I have seen and heard worse in movies with a PG rating. When you say you did not have sexual relations under oath, I guess you have to get the nitty gritty in order to prove it. All Clinton had to say under oath: Yes I had sexual relations and all those details would have been history. A legally brought case by Paula Jones was derailed because of this supposed lie. And that was before she got those so-called Right Wing Conspiracy Lawyers. I thought that a settlement in the beginning under Mr. Bennett would have solved a lot of problems. After she got called Trailer Trash, (I am not sure in those exact words, something like dollar bills dragged through a Trailer Park) things went down hill. Yes, all that SEX stuff has been getting out of hand but there were remedies early on. Sometimes 1 lie begets another lie etc. Remember Furman under oath? I never used the N word and then there were tapes and he argued it was a play. Did not work. He lost his job.

My concern is the market. But the Congress and the Senate is doing most of the work anyhow along with Mr. Greenspan and Mr. Rubin. I have not seen much of a policy brought forward by the administration and I am not seeing much on the foreign policy front.

Well at least Mr. Clinton heard those calls for a rate cut. So maybe he will get the credit for that if the FED sees fit to cut them. gg.

Hope the market takes all this in stride.

I was going to put this article on early this morning but was not able to sign on while I had the time.

Market went up more while I was posting. gg.
