Re: digital camera/std chips Right now digital cameras are $400 to $800 toys and is so technologically backwards that 'specialized' chips are need. But when this matures, I would bet you LSI would be leading the pack in shipping those 'std low end mega pixel chips' as well as getting better $ on the higher end stuff. I do not see the camera guys as being able to develop their own chips. Anyway, why bother when there are std building blocks from LSI that they can use and drastically cut development time. Like there's only a few VCR makers who make machines for everybody and only one battery maker in the whole of US who also build for everybody, LSI may just be one of the few who makes these chips. patrick
