Jonathan and all, I read sometime ago that the big board tried so hard to court INTC, even promising a single-letter symbol such as I (IBM would love that) which is supposed to be a real status symbol. (Others such as T, C, G, etc), But Intel apparently was not interested because some of the regulations governing Nasdaq offer more flexibility. I don't remember all the details anymore. Ibexx
