SUN and NT??? Sun announced plans to integrate Solaris systems with NT network services at its Enterprise Computing Forum in New York. Project Cascade, as its called, will give Solaris users native NT network services like naming, authentication, and file and print sharing. Sun will also release its SunPCi card that will let users run Windows and DOS applications on Sun Ultra workstations, and the company has plans to link its entire family of StorEdge products to NT environments by the end of the year.
