Hi Mr. Stock,

A gas flare should be visible as soon as the well test starts. A propane flare (i.e. the pilot light) will be visible for several hours if not days before that.

The Bearcat thread forecasts reserves of 50 BCF per section in the Crossfield. For net pay of 180 feet and other "pay parameters" typical of Crossfield reservoirs, one can easily compute that reserve concentration. So, a discovery of only a couple of sections will be of MAJOR proportions. And, for what it is worth, geophysical anomalies suggest that pools measured in TCF are possible in this area. Here's hoping !!!

Later,
