Joe: As a Mac owner there are few if any vendors (other than USR) of 56K x2/v.90 modems and they were 2x as expensive as the kflex modems. I guess they (Rockwell) have been dumping for at least 2 months. The question is is how is the modem marketplace going to react? Are the resellers going to buy all the cheap kflexes left ( and how many are left) and thus put pressure on USR x2 or are they going to try and get in line at USR who will now be the dominant supplier? In the Mac are so far x2 has held the line on price. Any thoughts?
