Yes they are...
There are 6 billion ACH payments made each year, and NACHA estimates that 8 billion will be made in the year 2000. Currently, more than two-thirds of all ACH transactions are processed through CheckFree's ACH Alliance Processing platform or PEP+ application software. The ACH alliance option creates an opportunity for financial institutions to move ACH transaction processing from their own system to CheckFree.
