My young son was in tears today. Told my wife that he
liked President Clinton(influenced by Mother-in-law) but
knows he lied and did something bad.

From Wash.Post Letters to Editor today:

If actions speak louder than words, here is what our children can
learn from our president:

Women are sex objects.

'Tis better to receive than to give.

Honesty is not the best policy.

Rules are for losers.

If you are contrite, they can't indict.

Certain kinds of lies are necessary and wise.

Never accept responsibility for your wrongdoing.

Character doesn't matter.

If an event is denied by those in attendance, it
didn't happen.

Anything goes if you are not caught.

A clever lie is admirable.

Blame others if you are caught doing something wrong.

Break your marriage vows with impunity.

Corruption is a relative concept.

You may not judge others (hear that, parents?) if you are not perfect.

Being popular is the single most important thing in life.

Sex has nothing to do with love.

Falsely swearing under oath carries no penalty.

Cheaters usually prosper.

Delayed gratification is stupid.

Apologies serve as punishment.
