Hi, Tom

As I said earlier, I am not interested in CIEN under current market conditions. Even if one knows the fundamentals of the networking industry, it may not be prudent to "gamble" on small-cap speciality niche companies ... unless one is trading for the dcb. The market can turn a deaf ear to fundamentals for a long time ... long enough for a little undersubsidized company to go under or some gorilla to buy it out at a lowball price, and the fundamental investor will take it in the chin. Same reason I would not touch MRVC with a 10-foot pole. Having said this, I am rooting for your TDT shares!

FWIW that's what I mean when I say in this market cheap stocks will get cheaper. Witness the small-cap specialty semi companies: ASYT, CYMI, CFMT, SFAM, IPEC, REAL ... check their charts. Do they have enough cash on hand to weather the semi industry going into hibernation for several quarters? Well, the market is not waiting to see if they do.
