I think that the people who are calling for Clinton's resignation or impeachment should be prepared to tell the rest of us why they are better than he is morally. If we find them morally impure then they should have to publicly confess their sins

Ok. I'll go first. I have never lied under oath. I have never lied to a court or a judge. I have never asked others to lie for me. I am married and have been faithful to my wife. I have never asked anyone to lie under oath nor have I even hinted that someone should do so.

I think Clinton should resign though, for the sake of my political goals I would like for him to remain so that this issue could continue to weigh down the liberal agenda for the duration.

As to your basic reasoning, I was not aware that the president's moral behavior (as it relates to the actual sex acts themselves) is at issue. It is his legal behavior which is the crux of any argument calling for either his resignation or his impeachment.
