Just heard a Prudential commodity analyst on CNBC say the Gold market has been in an 18 year bear market, with no end in sight hmmm?

Are these the same people (read analysts) who saw no end in sight to the 20+ year bull stock market as of this June?

It means NOTHING Don. All summer here in Dallas it was 100+ degrees and dry, and the weathermen saw "no end in sight". Well for the last several days it has been rainy and 85. At least the weatherman didn't really believe his ludicrous statement. It was a figure of speech.
Weather changes. Just look at the world around you, and you will see the signs.

Well... the WORLD politic/economy 'weather' is changing right now, and we are all trying to figure out in what direction. And none of us can know for sure. Goldbug and Humbug alike ;)

More than ever previously, the world economy is becoming interdependent, and just this simple fact offers up many scenarios which are constantly being pondered/argued in this forum.

I don't see sunshine, and warm breezes in the forecast on the world economic-political horizon. I see a stormfront. That is ONE reason many of us here are excited about being on the forefront of a move to the shelter of precious metals. Call me 'chicken little' if you like, but I rather see myself as the prudent bear storing fat for the winter.

Mark my words, and talk to me in a couple years. (Maybe sooner...)

respectfully,
cAPSLOCK
