WASHINGTON, Sept 15 (Reuters) - A living trust set up for Netscape
Communications Corp. executive vice president Marc Andreessen sold
200,000 common shares worth $4.3 million of the Internet company, a
recent regulatory filing showed.

The trust sold shares of the Mountain View, Calif.-based company on
Sept. 3, a Form 144 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission
indicated earlier this month.

Company executives file the document with the SEC showing an intention
to sell stock, but are not obliged to do so. The documents sometimes
reveal shares that have already been sold.

Netscape has about 104 million shares outstanding. Shares fell 4/16 to
21-5/16 on Nasdaq.
