Brooks, I think the reason BoA/Nations is even considering doing bill presentment in house is because of David Coulter (former BoA CEO), who is second in command. It is rumored that Coulter will leave but only after he keeps some promises of taking care of "his people". He surely is not doing the new Nations/BoA any favors (puting his needs first, instead of the banks). He is making a complicated Bank Merger even more complicated. IMO there is not much CheckFree can do except wait. I think Pete should stick to his guns, make BoA/Nations sign a fair contract if they do sign, because while it is important to sign the largest bank, it is more important to be able to make a profit.
