In no other country in the world would their President, or national leader, be humilated in this way for these reasons. In every other country in the world their President, or national leader, may well have engaged in similar adulterous conduct with a young woman "intern" or similar attached to the Presidential offices. At at some point in the past such national leaders in every country undoubtedly have. And the citizens of all these countries know that. What is remarkable here is that we allow such public humilation for so very, very little. Sometimes a little international, and historical, perspective is valuable. Doug
