Why don't you try a more substantive reply to the contradictions I illustrated about the importance of sexual character. I'd really like to hear you response re: some of our best have been philanderers. And some of our worst have had sterling sexual piety.

Oh, and there's King David. He had scores of wives and concubines. Greatest king Israel ever had.

Perhaps you don't read the Old Testament, though.

I'll even say this. I think, in general, and with very many exceptions in both parties, that Republican political candidates have a bit more sexual probity than Democratic politicans. Plenty of sinning on both sides, of course. But I think its more of an issue among Republicans than Democrats.

I'm and independent. But I also don't think sexual probity makes much difference at all in our national leaders. Just our spouses and ministers, rabbis and priests.
