Thanks for the reference. Now that I see it, I remember it (I get Forbes). I have been pretty silent on the issue of whether or not MMs can influence large stocks, because I just don't know. One the one hand, it sure does seem suspicious that, as of now (2 hours before close), INTEL is hovering WITHOUT VOLITILITY, around 135. On the other hand, I've seen all sorts of predictions on here for months and months of where it will close at expiration time and it only does so half the time...a random number. My guess is that in a quiet market like today (relatively), there can be manipulation but that in a more active market it would not be doable. I know that Jack, who has 30 more years experience than I, would say otherwise, but we can agree to disagree and I can agree that he has a better record than I <G>!
