Let's see if I can help you with your facts.

<<Yes, Clinton did wrong. It was not a very big wrong. It was just done by a very big and powerful person.>>

He abused and endangered his office, a big wrong.

<<Now are the Republicans going to tie the country up in knots about this for months to come in an impeachment process the public, in overwhelming numbers, do not want?>>

Democrats have and will continue to drive the impeachment process. Republicans are along for the ride. The public in overwhelming numbers want an impeachment inquiry.

<<The public is telling the Congress that this is not a High Crime and Misdemeanor. They are right. Republicans have been beating this to death because, unlike the last Congressional term, when they had lots to offer, they have nothing of late.>>

The public has not said perjury and obstruction of justice are not high crimes. The republicans have not been beating this to death. Sen. Moynihan, the leaders of the dems, stated that perjury was an impeachable offense.

<<A backlash, and a big one is brewing. This is the low point for the President. And it isn't even low at all in the public numbers, though you'd never feel that listening to the media. The prosecution has shot its best shot, made its best case. >>

All evidence suggest the IC has additional damaging material on other WH scandals, albeit not impeachable.

<<Now its the President's turn. Support will increase. Disgust with going forward with this will increase.>>

There is no evidence of this. In fact, I believe it will get worse for Clinton, just as it did for Nixon as the public hearings on Watergate progressed.

<<The public want this to stop. The Repubs. better listen.>>

Every poll shows the opposite. The public wants to continue with the impeachment process. However, the public has not made its mind up to impeach. At least, that's what the polls show.
