I found the following information at languru.com

Interference - Sometimes monitors sitting real close to each other will cause distortion. Place something like a cookie sheet between them to shield the interference. If this alone doesn't work, try grounding the cookie sheet. Attach one end of a wire to the cookie sheet using a clamp type paperclip, and connect the other end to a screw or exposed piece of metal on the back of the COMPUTER, not the monitor.
