Richard, I doubt whether John will be able to answer you or the rest of us via the web any longer. (John, please correct me if I am wrong)

My understanding of the new TSE guidelines, in plain language, is this: "Company employees who comment on the web are going to be in big trouble."

I think this new policy is rubbish! Despite the fact that UIC stock has been struggling along with thousands of other CDN corporations, a faint sparkle in all that darkness was the feeling that investors could get accurate, up to date information directly from the company via a public forum.

Somehow the TSE seems to think that the public is better served by each of us phoning the company one-by-one and asking our questions individually. This of course will use up a lot of time that the company could better spend doing other things, and also lends itself to misunderstanding among shareholders who might think they hear different inflections in the messages they receive. At least in a public forum everyone gets the same information at the same time.

I rarely comment on SI because I am afraid that the TSE or other regulatory bodies will strap the same straight-jacket on me.

In my humble opinion it has been the threads like this one, and like Yamana Resources, that have offered investors a real chance at levelling the playing field.

Sorry for droning on... I'm afraid I don't know the answers to your questions Richard but I hope we can all find out.
