Hutch, I fail to see your logic that a drop in short term interest rates will boost the value in the dollar. Maybe you can explain why Brazil raised their interest rates to 50% to support their currency or Canada raised their rates 1% to support their currency. Following your logic they should have lowered their rates. Stimulate growth through lower rates = stronger currency. Hasn't helped Japan so far. Terry,
