Back to CREE Sounds like their only real protection at this point is their technical/competitive head-start. They claim to own or exclusively license 49 patents. I have not looked in to this, but the important thing in this type of business is to protect trade secrets dealing with processes and not be blocked by other's patents. Any insight as to what the next earnings report will look like? This looks good to me: Message 5751247 time will tell. Another interesting tidbit is this: Message 5743832 Note that I am not suggesting ATMI at this time and I think this is a bad sign for them.
