stockycd, re:Greenspan

Likely outcome: AG retains his typically vague posture, enabling the press to maneuver the market. AG reiterates that economy is balanced b/t inflationary, deflationary forces; media chorus is more goldilocks. AG suggests that FED is prepared to react to domestic economic requirements with rate-cut as needed. AG hints that equity markets have [overly] optimistic valuation and projections; media dismisses as "already discounted by recent price movements."

There is too much at stake politically, economically, globally for AG to assert anything overtly negative. Despite any personal beliefs on market bubbles, AG recognizes that domestic wealth is critical to global debt resolution. The FED will continue to quietly add massive pools of liquidity.
