J-R, I am not expecting miracles with this market but I keep thinking of IFM's ton of cash for acquisitions and that the roadshows for analysts, Nasdaq listing have yet to come - I suspect temporarily delayed for better market conditions. The way I look at it, Mpact came a very long way on its own as an unknown tiny Canadian company and has done extremely well with Brian Edwards etc. at the helm. As you know from your knowledge of BCE and the CGI deal, Jean Monty does not partner with mediocre players - he must see something outstanding in Edwards and the Mpact team. In turn, a good portion of Edwards' shares are now locked up for at least a year as part of the Bell deal (see a previous post for exact details) so he too must be highly confident and motivated to ensure that Mpact does well. No doubt about it though, you must believe in the future of ecommerce. I am particularly pleased that Mpact's major exposure is in the business-to-business sector, where I believe the strongest revenue stream will be.
