Starr does not work for the Attorney General. That is why he is called an "independent counsel". Nor was he selected by the Attorney General. TMK, He was selected by a panel of 3 Republican federal judges. But the thrust of your argument is easy to follow. Protect the right wing republicans and blame everything on the executive branch of government.
