Mr Cookie Baker,

I cant remember how this came up... I think it was an argument about Clintons contributions to the economy. I dont know... some really great companies are arguing against Microsoft, such as oracle and Sun, but then some greater companies are arguing in Msft favor, Intc and Dell. Working in the database industry and former Oracle I really wanted to hate msft, but they did a great job with the new Sql server, so what can I say? I dont know what the right answer is, but I dont think you can make a call about the Clinton effect on business with regard to his stance on this issue.

I will say that lots of companies and whole industries in technology popped up during the time Clinton was in office. Id say you have to give his administration at least partial credit for those businesses and the productivity improvements generated by them.
