James- Thanks for clarification.
"
Yes, God did become a man- the Creator took on the form of a creature. But is that what God is today?"

Yes, Jesus is still the God-man---fully God and also fully man.
Jesus will, for all eternity, remain the God-man.
The Eternal Trinity has added saved humanity to its Divinity.
This is the mystery of the Incarnation.
God became what we are that we might become what He is--Divine sons.
We, however, will always remain the created sons, while Jesus is the only begotten Son.

The fact that Jesus sits at the right hand of God the Father in his resurrected human body
overwhelms the heart. It is an indication of God's love for mankind.

All honor and glory and power and dominion belongs to our God.
Glory and praised to the name of Jesus now and forevermore.

Emile
