The Unintended Show or Joining in the Fun
Many of you are aware of the Little Men of RMIL, many are not. They are a peculiar breed. Imagine if you will...
An old dining room table stood on it's side, the occasional head could be seen popping partially up, but the table blocked the activity behind quite well. It served as the front of a stage, for puppets.
The puppets were all quite similar, made out of old gray socks, straw was added for body.

The sock puppets each wore a hat made out of tin foil and the stage was quite crowded with them. It was obvious that several players were making several puppets work, but no details were clear. There was a reason for this.
Many attempts had been made so far to squash the Little Men, none have been successful. This is accomplished by co-opting any real people. The idea is to get you into the puppet show and pretty soon, no matter what you say, you begin to look like a Little Man.
There is no winning with a Little Man, especially if they have the little foil hats firmly in place. Good posters and their influence are lost through the artifice of making them part of the puppet show. The Little Men really don't care, they are out to get your money. They lie, they pretend, they say anything required. The audacity of the Little Men is, well, audacious to say the least. Listen to this typical dialogue. Here is s. martin, who may know more about the Little Men than anyone else, mentioning a NASDAQ fact. #reply-3919502 Jeffrey Garland calls and confirms. #reply-3919563

Every poster or player may be part of the puppet show at any time, without even being aware of it. They are good at what they do, no doubt about it. |
