Howard - so why are you here? did you check out their web site? looks to me like Sun River has a pretty good business plan, and an audit by a reputable engineering firm...just in case you haven't been to their site yet, here are some excerpts:

"The business of the Sun River Group is the acquisition and evaluation of gold prospects in Bolivia, the exploration and development of such prospects in the hope of the production of gold."

"The Subsidiaries own or are engaged in acquiring contractual rights to explore and/or produce minerals from a number of prospects which Sun River believes contain economically recoverable gold resources."

"On July 31, 1998 Rio Del Sol entered into a letter of intent with the owners of another prospect near the Challana river in the Tipuani Gold Mining District. This prospect is currently in production."

"Sun River retained Watts, Griffis and McOuat Limited ("WGM"), a leading international firm of consulting geologists and engineers, to review Aluvion's estimates of probable ore reserves and other mineralization, and of the capital and operating costs of various projects."

"Average total production costs are projected at $93 per ounce for Aluvion's initial prospect based upon sample runs. Such is not assured as many variables may occur."

The last one looks particularly attractive with gold prices at their current levels. In addition, it seems like a plausible value given that dredging is not an intensive (as mining goes) process. This value would look god even if it were to vary by 25-30%.

pretty interesting, toma
