Hi teevee,,

The Alberta Gas Plant Directory, Volume II 1994-1995 shows that Imperial Oil's Quirk Creek Gas Plant, located in 2-4-21-4W5 is in fact a sour gas processing facility. According to that publication Delta Projects' MCRC Technology (i.e. a sub-dewpoint sulphur recovery process) is incorporated in the process and yields a design sulphur recovery capacity of 307 tonnes/day. Other more current references which I have "spot checked" also indicate the plant to be capable of "sour service".

Why do you suggest that this plant is "sweet" ?? Is it unable to handle an H2S concentration of ~29% (expected for 7-25 Devonian gas)??

Later,
grayhairs

P.S.-- And, what do you mean, "if it is a winner" ?? :-) :-) :-)
