Hi teevee,

Just for clarity, Esso's Quirk Creek gas plant is a "sour" gas plant and not a "sweet" processing facility as was suggested previously.

Quirk Creek sulphur design capacity of 307 tonnes/d is with an inlet design of 90 mmcf/d and compares to the Jumping Pound plant sulphur capacity design of 619 tonnes/d for an inlet design of 272.8 mmcf/d.

Although of smaller total capacity, the nearby Quirk Creek plant "process" can handle gas with 1.5 times the H2S content as that which can be processed at the Jumping Pound plant. So, if Jumping Pound can process the 7-25 and Hartell gas, then there's no need to go there with it !! (Unless productivity exceeds the excess capacity of the Quirk Creek gas plant of course. I'm sure McLeod would love to have that problem because a split stream to both plants sure wouldn't be economically prohibitive.)

Later,
