At its core, spirituality is a relationship between the individual and God, but there is a palpable power that coalesces when people of like mind perform spiritual rituals together. If any of you have ever held hands with others in prayer, where each person in the circle was "in the moment", you know exactly what I'm describing -- you can literally feel this energy. If you've never had this kind of experience, no words will ever convey its power.

And this isn't limited to prayer. Groups of all stripes can achieve this: athletic teams who get in the "zone", music groups who find the "groove" . . .and these experiences are not replicable when one is by oneself. Alone one can achieve X, but with others we can realize the exponential powers of X.
