With only losses from operation, AMZN is unlikely to pay back its $530 million junk bonds. Yet those junk bonds have seniority over common equity - which puts the value of common at around zero... Most likely outcome of AMZN in next few years: Reorganization and issuance of new common shares against those junk bond debts. Tough luck for current shareholders....
