The greatness of America has little to do with the petty minded religiosity which surfaces from time to time, and a great deal to do with our adherence to our Constitution and founding ideals. As well as our respect for diversity, and allowance of the most effective, regardless of their cultural or religious values, to rise. Prohibition was born of the same sorts of moral prescriptions. The civil rights movement was born of adherence to the Constitution and our founding ideals. Doug
