Steve: no, DRAM bits per PC will not double and thats part of the problem. Growth in capacity requires big unit growth and growth in bits per PC and both are slowing down. The growing percentage of sub $1000 PC is also putting a damper on bit growth.
DRAM is a commodity for an industry that is maturing.
