If I were Tucker, I'd have the person delivering my food eat some of it first! Strange things happen to people who know Clinton and get sick!!!

Former governor admitted to hospital

ROCHESTER, Minn. (AP) - Former Arkansas Gov. Jim Guy Tucker could remain hospitalized for
another week undergoing treatment for gastrointestinal inflammation, a spokesman for the Mayo
Clinic says.

The former governor was admitted to a Little Rock, Ark., hospital Sept. 8, and transferred Sunday
to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn., where he underwent a liver transplant in 1996.

Tucker's current gastrointestinal illness is not life-threatening and unrelated to his liver problems,
hospital spokesman Jesse Bradley said Tuesday.

Tucker resigned as governor in July 1996 after his conviction - along with President Clinton's former
business partners, Jim and Susan McDougal - in a Whitewater-related trial. He has appealed the
conviction.
