STRATUM GROUP SELECTS VSI TO ESTABLISH VIDEOCONFERENCING NETWORK
NORCROSS, GEORGIA - September 14, 1998 -- VSI Enterprises Inc. (NASDAQ: VSIN) announced today that it has
been selected to establish a corporate videoconferencing network for Stratum Group, a New York-based energy investment
company. Initial installations of VSI's fully-functional OmegaO Executive group systems have been made at Stratum
headquarters in New York City and at its office in Houston, Texas, and are being used for general business meetings and
in-depth technical presentations involving oil and gas industry clients.
Judi North, President and CEO of VSI, said, "Stratum Group serves its customers by designing custom financial packages that

Bani added that the use of a graphics camera and personal computer enhances the marketing presentations to Stratum
executives in New York, who are able to view such detailed documents as oil and gas field maps - although they are
thousands of miles away from the client. "That added functionality helped make VSI the right choice for us," explained Bani.
