KG Telecommunications Selects Brightpoint To
Support Taiwan Prepaid System
INDIANAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 16, 1998--Brightpoint, Inc. (NASDAQ:CELL - news) announced today
that KG Telecommunications Co., Ltd. (''KG Telecommunications''), a leading wireless network operator in Taiwan, has
selected Brightpoint to provide various services to support KG Telecommunication's prepaid cellular services. Brightpoint will
be responsible for inventory management and fulfillment services with respect to handsets, accessories and prepaid value
cards. These products will be retailed through cellular dealers and 7-Eleven convenience stores.
KG Telecommunications is a leading GSM 1800 network operator in Taiwan, and the first in Taiwan to offer prepaid service.
