back in April, if a DGIV shareholder were told that by September (5-6 months later), this young IP-telephony company would have announced its presence in Germany, Egypt, Russia, INdonesia; a major business alliance with a high-flying high-tech company like NMSS; its involvement in major trade shows to increase its visibility; with more contracts pending in many other parts of the world and the imminent filing of the sb10, the shareholder would be VERY happy!!!!
Therefore, from my vantage point, it looks like much of Jimmy Chin's business plan and vision are being executed at this time. If the past is any indication, I would bet that the future would bring more "proofs" of Jimmy Chin's ability to deliver.
If the share price were higher, let's say 3-4-5 dollars/share, with the same fundamentals in place, I would guess that many investors would be "happier" (so would I! ). However, there are time when share price is independent of company fundamentals. Just take a look at NASDAQ IP telephony companies like IDTCor VOCLF,etc...When I last checked, they were all trading substantially off their 52-week high, with most of them off at least 50-60%!!!!!!!
Whe you view DGIV share price in the context of these other "major" IP-telephony companies, you would see that the fall in DGIV share price is NOT unique to DGIV, and is in fact shared by ALL companies in the sector (as well as almost all high tech companies-have you looked at how low off their 52-week high companies like ORCL, SDTI,SEEK, DCLK,INTC,etcetcetcetc......are trading????) |
