What does the release of audited financials have to do with the hotly-anticipated humongous short squeeze?

A 10K for 1997 and a 10Q for 2nd quarter 1998 with audited financials would tell us exactly how many shares were issued, to whom, at what price, and whether funds were collected.

There would be disclosure as to the legal remedies the company was pursuing to correct any fraud allegedly perpetrated against it.

Finally, an independent auditor would note the existence or planned issuance of preferred stock for existing common stock and the rights and terms associated thereto.

As "audited" statements, they would be in theory compiled by an independent third party who was accepting legal liability as to the accuracy of the financial statements and notes associated with those statements.

Consequently, if the facts surrounding the "short squeeze" are anything less than that purported by the company in its press releases or by supporters on this thread, it would be madness to release them.
