Wizzer, you I cut a little more slack than others since you have the blood which you perceive to have been under attack by Eric. But to construe my comments here as an endorsement of racism is to misread them, I believe that if you take a deep breath and reread them you will realise that.

You ask for understanding, and I shall try. It does seem clear that you are unfamiliar with EC's style - he hasn't posted on GPM until recently, I think. Now I am not he, but I've read a few thousand of his posts and emails and flatter myself that I am on the way to understanding him, if that is possible with a human being. It is my considered opinion that if the worst racist you ever meet is Eric Charters, then you are home free and in the clear. As I've said upthread, I believe he was speaking figuratively or metaphorically or whatever - actually I don't know the literary term for it, but imho he was not literally advocating genocide but rather playing devil's advocate in his patented histrionic way in pointing out that deep-seated fear does exist on this little planet and that from time to time such fear is indeed translated into action. Which last is imho somewhat proven by your response.

He has got to dumb it down for those who don't know him or are incapable of understanding, this is true. But he is no Emile, and I wouldn't be all that worried about him if I was you ...... gotta go ... cheers
