Those silly everyday people aren't smart enough to decide what's best for themselves.

That's probably correct when it comes to an untargeted general poll. People who lack the motivation to even vote, shouldn't be allowed to decide what's best for the rest of the country. (I don't care about what they decide is best for themselves).

I reread the constitution and failed to find a reference to impeachment based on poll results.
